BICWM transition in staffing
GRANTHAM, Pa. (Nov 5, 2010)—Brethren in Christ World Missions (Grantham, Pa.) announces a transition in staffing as Mike Holland, BICWM mobilization coordinator concludes his time of service with BICWM.
Mike, who grew up on the BIC mission field, has served in various capacities with BICWM for over 25 years and has carried the role of BICWM mobilization coordinator for the past eight years at the BICWM offices in Grantham, PA. Regarding the transition, Mike writes “through conversation with administration there is consensus that the Lord is leading me out of my role as mobilization coordinator at this time.” He is excited to move forward in completing his doctoral studies, pastoring the Luz Alegria y Esperanza church plant in York Springs, PA and will be available to various BIC teaching and speaking appointments in the days ahead.
“Mike has been a passionate advocate for BICWM over several decades,” says Chris Sharp, BICWM executive director. “His heart for global ministry and his desire to see others raised up for service is excellent! Though we will miss Mike’s presence in the office we look forward to continued connection in the years to come.”
