Impact, globally

Our passion is to connect disciples so that they can carry out the Great Commission – both in their home communities and around the world. An exciting expression of this is an emerging Global Impact network. John Hawbaker, Director of Missional Development, has set up a Global Impact Team or Advocate in each regional conference, for the purpose of resourcing congregations.

Global Impact is about combining discipleship and outreach, sharing stories and opportunities, and bridging local and global evangelism and service.

What is Global Impact?
An initiative by BICWM to provide training, ideas, resources and coaching for local congregations to think and act “glocally” – both locally and globally.

How does it work?
A Global Impact Team (or Advocate) in each regional conference offers support, training and resources to local congregations through the missions committee or missions advocate in each congregation. View a list of Global Impact Team contacts for each region.

Why is it needed?
Much good can come from congregational networks. We intend to help foster strong relationships and partnerships that will increase our effectiveness in reaching the world for Christ.

How does it affect me?
God has gifted you! He is also calling you to get involved in his grand plan to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. Global Impact challenges you to consider the many ways you can share your gifts with others and partner with other believers, at home and around the world. Global Impact is a call to action.
