INTERIM BISHOP - CRAIG SIDER
Craig Sider serves the Brethren in Christ Church currently as bishop of the Atlantic Conference, giving oversight to 50 congregations in Eastern Pennsylvania, New York City, and New Jersey. On August 1, 2008 he will be taking over the Susquehanna Conference as Interim Bishop until March 2009 due to Bishop Ken Letner's health issues.
Prior to assuming his assignment as bishop, Craig served as a church planting pastor for the Brethren in Christ for 11 years in Oakville, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto. He graduated from Brock University (B.A.), Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and is a D.Min candidate in Executive Leadership from Denver Seminary. Craig is the point person for Leadership Development in the Brethren in Christ Church of North America. He and his wife Laura are the parents of three children.
