STEWARDSHIP AND FINANCE COMMISSION
Purpose is to assist the Conference in schieving its goals in financial and stewardship matters, working in coordination with the General Conference Board for Stewardship Services.
Duties include:
- To receive and review budget requests, supported by appropriate rationale, from the Regional Conference teams
- To maintain an openness to receive input from the members of the Conference
- To recommend the budget for the conference by way of the Board of Directors
- To monitor the progress of the budgets and giving, and to recommend adjustments as needed
- To be available to assist congregations in budget planning, giving goals, and other financial matters
- To review loan requests to the Jacob Engle Foundation from regional ministries, congregations and pastors
- To review and appropriate requests for fund raising beyond the Cooperative Ministries budget
