Association of Brethren Caregivers (Church of the Brethren). This site takes a literal approach to church health with resources on such timely topics as aging, depression, physical fitness, and family life.
Christian Reformed Church (pdf). Take a look at a document detailing the Christian Reformed Church’s priority of healthy churches where the emphasis is on worship, sacrament, teaching, prayer, justice, servant leadership, and accountability.
Church of the Nazarene. If you’re looking for resources to support your preaching skills, this website is a great place to start. The clergy development pages prayer, leadership, relationships, worship events, lay discipleship, missions, and preaching.
Evangelical Free Church of America. On this site, you can review what the Evangelical Free Church of America has identified as the ten indicators of a healthy church. This is also the home of Leading Edge, a no-cost e-resource for pastors and other leaders in healthy churches.
Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. Designed to “support ELCA congregations in their call to faithful, welcoming, and generous,” it is equally useful for BIC congregations that are pursuing these same goals. Check out the online assessment tools and a lengthy of resources in support of church health.
Canadian Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches. Check out The Raft, a no-cost e-newsletter for the purpose of “resourcing, equipping, and connecting pastors and ministry leaders.”
Missionary Church. The Missionary Church puts the emphasis on “equipping disciples who make disciples.” So if that’s your focus, check out this site for training, assessment, and coaching resources.
United Methodist Church
Leader in Christian Education Ministries magazine provides articles and information for those with Christian education responsibilities. It is published quarterly.
Interpreter Online. This is another great online publication with stories of congregations making a difference for Christ in their communities, plus an “idea mart” section that makes it well worth the effort of stopping by the site often.
Circuit Rider. A bi-monthly no-cost, online professional magazine for pastors that’s on a mission to “address the spiritual, intellectual, and practical needs of pastors serving local churches.”
