2007 Week of Prayer Requests
To submit a prayer request, please contact Katie Geshay at kgeshay@messiah.edu
Please pray for the Ransom Creek Congregation in Clarence Center, NY. We're a small church that wants to reach its growing community. Keep us in your prayers as we need to follow some bold initiatives this year to accomplish this goal.
-Pastor Dave Miller, Ransom Creek Congregation
Pachel and Nancy are friends of ours here in Colorado Springs. They just discovered today that their 4 year old daughter, Corelli, has cancerous brain tumors. She is in pediatric intensive care. She was taken to the hospital yesterday complaining of headaches and vision problems and she was having trouble with her balance. We pray because "NOTHING is impossible with God"!
-Ray Bert,
Covenant Fellowship Church (Brethren in Christ) Colorado Springs, CO
Prayer is requested for the Elizabethtown congregation as they prepare for the March 11, 2007 conclusion of Pastor Hall's 18 year ministry as Senior Pastor. Also pray for the process of pastoral transition that will follow.
-Gene Wingert, Associate Pastor
Pray for The Call coming up in August 2007.
-Cathy Brubaker
Praise God for the steps our people have taken in building relationships with seekers as a result of our congregation-wide study "Just Walk Across the Room." Pray that we will continue in these relationships and that many more people will come to faith in Christ.
-Manor Church, Lancaster, PA
Please keep my family and myself in your prayers; we have been dealing with and accident and I blew my knee out the back of my leg November 11, 2005. I'm still in pain and walking with a cane - waiting for the surgeon to change his mind and give me a knee replacement (he says I am too young). I am trying to manage the pain,
We had a house fire last year and my partners mother is deteriorating with Alzheimer's; and I have lost my contract with the Region of Waterloo in 2 weeks and have not been able to obtain another position yet. I am trying very hard to have total faith in God and wait for his timing.
