Explanation of change in pension plan
Within the next week, pastors will receive a letter explaining the decision by the General Conference Board to freeze the defined benefit (DB) portion of the Brethren in Christ Pension Fund. The letter will also outline options available to participants regarding the DB plan. Packets with financial information specific to each participant are currently being developed and should be available before the end of the year.
