Isaiah 53:5 contains part of a prophecy about Jesus as well as a promise to us. It says:
"But he was pierced for our transgressions., he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (NIV)
There are different views toward healing. Some have determined that scripture refers only to spiritual healing, while others hold the belief that this promise encompasses physical and emotional healing as well. Some have sought God and experienced physical or emotional healing first hand, while others have sought God for the same result, and have yet to receive it. Many in the process of seeking healing have been further wounded by well-meaning ministries that have placed blame on them for not having enough faith, or accused them of not fully repenting of sin. This seminar will discuss how we minister the healing grace of Jesus to those who have physical and emotional wounds as well as to those who have been wounded by well-meaning ministries.
Seminar Objectives

Presenters
Tim Harden spent 23 years in the business world before responding to the call to ministry. A graduate of Emmanuel Bible College and Tyndale Seminary, he served as pastor of Sauble Christian Fellowship for ten years. He currently pastors Rosebank Brethren in Christ Church on the edge of Kitchener, ON, Canada. He and his wife, Jackie, have two married sons and three grandsons. Music has always been a big part of Tim’s life and he has sung with the Watchmen Quartet for 43 years.
Tim has been on a life-long quest to gain a deeper understanding of healing as he has rejoiced to see God’s intervention in a supernatural way and wept with those who are hurting and grieving.
Steve Smith worked in technology as an electronics technician and later as Vice President of Systems Development and Marketing for a systems integration company. Then he was called into ministry where he has served full-time for 17 years: he pastored two congregations in Pennsylvania and the Upland Brethren in Christ congregation for the past eleven years. Steve has participated in inner-healing ministry throughout his career. He and his wife Phyllis, have five daughters, two sons-in-law, and four granddaughters. In addition to spending time with his family and working various home projects, Steve enjoys an occasional attempt at golf.
Having experienced inner healing and the joy of being restored, Steve has a passion for seeing people experience the healing and freedom that are available to the disciples of Jesus and he counts it a blessing each time God allows him to be part of someone else’s healing process.

The seminar materials will be sent to the person who makes the registration. Registered persons are eligible to receive Lifelong BIC Learning credit.
Due to the wide appeal of this year’s topic, those congregations who have two pastors/leaders register will be permitted to have other interested staff or congregants attend the seminar by paying a $40.00 audit fee.
