T205 Theology of Peacemaking

This course is a good introduction to the Brethren in Christ identity as an historic peace church. You will read relevant biblical texts, a major church historian, and Brethren in Christ thinkers, writing brief response papers to your readings. You will also consider the practical aspects of being a Peaceful Christian in interpersonal relationships and in the wider world, developing either a sermon or lesson outline applying Christ's model of peacemaking. In addition, you will interact with a peacemaking effort and reflect on that experience.
