T103 Evidence for Faith
This course offers students an introduction to the tools of Christian apologetics. Students will examine evidence for God’s existence and Jesus’ resurrection, and will learn how to provide reasonable explanations for objections to these. Apologetics is not – as some have argued – a means of “arguing people into the Kingdom.” Rather, apologetics provides a means for strengthening one’s own faith in order to offer reasonable explanations of the Christian faith to others. Thus, in this course, students will also examine the benefits and limitations of Christian apologetics.
