B103r Biblical Interpretation

Are Christians right when they say, "I just read the Bible and do what it says. I don't have to interpret it?" Through reading several authors with varied approaches to scripture as well as selected biblical texts, this required course explores the complex task of discovering what the Bible communicates. You will gain understanding of biblical exegesis, literary genres, and interpretation and learn to do word studies and use commentaries. This course will equip you to be a careful reader of the Bible.
