Equipping for Ministry

Equipping for Ministry is the theological education arm of the BIC U.S. Commission on Ministry
and Doctrine.

The Directed Study Program offers e-mail delivered courses for individuals who are currently in ministry as well as lay persons. Completion of this program serves in lieu of a formal degree to meet the educational requirement for ordination with BIC U.S.

Core Courses are four intensive onsite courses designed to introduce the history, doctrinal convictions, and applied values of the Brethren in Christ. Completion of these courses is required for credentialing with BIC U.S.

Impact Opportunities facilitate theological conversations on current issues related to the mission, vision, and values of the BIC community of faith.
