BIC World Missions

Vision

Vision 2010

The task of discipling the nations outlined in the Great Commission (Matt 28:19,20) can be reasonably approximated as a need for the development of a Church for Every People. This century has produced a movement dedicated to such a vision. We in the BIC church can partner in just this vision—God has called us to share in this global verifiable task.

The task of the churches around the world remains consistent with the church in North America, to reach each successive generation with the transforming person of Christ—to take the gospel to every person.

God has made it clear that there will be a time when all the nations of the world will declare His glory (Is. 66:19). That time has not yet come. Missions is not the ultimate goal of the Church. Worship is. Mission exists because worship doesn’t Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man… Worship is the fuel and goal of missions.
