Late in 1999, a group of lay leaders, pastors, and denominational staff put in writing an ambitious (some would say audacious) ministry plan for the Brethren in Christ Church in the first decade of the new century.

Titled Impact 2010, it builds on enduring biblical values. The plan describes our mission as a community of believers. It concentrates on the health and vitality of congregations. It focuses on developing people. And it calls us to ethnic, cultural, and racial diversity.

Now at the mid-point of Impact 2010, the prophetic “snapshot” of what could be is coming into focus through initiative, creativity, and action across the Brethren in Christ Church.
